The expandable fender with scrolled plinth at either end centered by a ribboned cabochon in brass and surmounted by a figural recumbent whippet, each end slides upon the brass-wrapped iron rod and channeled iron base rail, the length can accommodate a space as small as 35 inches up to a size of 45 inches long.
Measures 7.5 high by adjustable length 35 to 45 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, very light wear at some edges and very light oxidation more accurately described as patina.
