A rare oil on canvas by the charter member of the Prairie Printmakers Society born in the Flint Hills of Kansas. Foltz received numerous awards, prizes and medals over his more sixty years as a working artist. His oil paintings are most sought after and least often seen. Signed lower right, titled and dated on the frame liner verso.
Canvas measures 23 x 28.5, frame is 27 x 32.25 inches.
Good condition noting areas of inpainting on the lower center and upper left.
