The oval form with ormolu frame decorated in champlevé enamels, two handles, mounted on Sevres-style porcelain with cobalt ground and hand painted scene of lovers in 18th century garb within an oval frame of gold enamels artist signed A. Bost, raised on ormolu socle decorated in champlevé technique of multi-colored enamels and onyx plinth with concave corners.
Measures 9 x 12.5 x 7 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
