Pencil signed lower right, signed and dated 1926 in reverse in the plate, label present verso in the artist's hand reads: 'Gerald Brockhurst - British - fine painter and etcher. This etching 'La Tresse' was bitten 51 times.' This work is very nicely framed and matted using archival quality materials.
Plate size 8.25 x 6.75, frame measures 18.5 x 16.75 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
