162: LATE 19TH C. IRON DOUBLE INKWELL WITH MECHANICAL BELL

A cast iron base with copper flash finish and cast Aesthetic movement designs along with owls, animals, elves with ink pot and pens, elf with balky mule and other symbols. Plus, between the two original period blown glass ink wells is a tap bell, the pen holding device is two figural birds. Measures 3.25 x 8 x 5 inches.
Very good original condition. No damage or repair, original finish showing some wear and very light oxidation in some areas. The glass inkwells have been glued in place.
