655: A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH SPELTER STATUE CLOCK WITH MARBLE

The spelter figure of a boy with bird beside a fountain head with inset marble and French clock movement fronted by a hand painted porcelain enamel dial with floral garland, the time and strike movement is unmarked, the whole upon a marble platform with molded edge raised on four toupie feet.
Measures 13 x 17 x 6 inches.
Very good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises. The porcelain enamel dial has a noticeable chip at one winding hole.
