The undulating faux rosewood case with arched crown and turned finials over the double-sunk dial with finely gilded intaglio Roman numerals, escapement and hands against an ebonised surface, time only, one-weight movement, enameled beat plate.
Measures 44 x 14 x 5.5 inches.
Very good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises. The case is very good and largely original except for the area around separations near the bottom of the door, the dial, hands and escapement are excellent without any visible flaw.
