The two-weight, eight day time and strike movement enclosed in a fine rosewood round top case with eglomise door glass and painted metal dial with Roman numeral chapter ring, nice finish, the door glass has the characteristics of period original glass, a label remains inside on the case floor.
Measures 36 x 14 x 5 inches.
Very good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises, no damage, repair or heavy wear, the dial looks to be professionally restored with craquelure effect, the wavy door glass is assumed to be re-painted, very nice overall.
