The arched crown over dentilated molding and door with extra ornate carved half columns having acanthus in relief, scrolling capitols and intaglio carved leaf and vine motif above a waisted turning and vasiform section with carvings in high relief, three beehive drop finials and and incised lower bracket. The fancy dial with porcelain enamel chapter ring centered by an embossed brass inset of Art Nouveau ornament repeated on the weights and the pendulum, time and strike movement, porcelain enamel beat plate.
Measures 46 x 17 x 6.5 inches.
Very good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises. The cosmetic condition is very good, there are no chips, cracks or repairs to the porcelain enamel dial, very good case finish, probably the original, the original glass.
