690: A 19TH CENTURY FIGURAL STATUE CLOCK SIGNED JAPY FRERES

The patinated spelter figure after the bronze sculpture by Hippolyte F. Moreau incorporating a time and strike brass plate movement signed Japy Freres fronted by a porcelain enamel dial with hand painted floral garland and Arabic numerals, all upon a marble platform with ormolu frieze, the whole raised on toupie feet.
Measures 17 x 20 x 6.5 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear, the original finish overall, there are no chips, cracks or repairs to the dial, the intact movement (missing bell) is assumed to be in good running condition.
