The dark blue field with an all-over design displaying rows of small red, blue or ochre stylized flower heads all framed within a formal hooked and stepped vine lattice, the red inner border enclosing continuous ivory stylized hooked flora, alternating with similar flora forms, a blue green outer border with alternating 'in and out' half cruciform medallions within a zigzag continuous vine.
Measures 54 x 42 inches.
Even heavy wear overall, minor end loss, the edges may be re-wrapped, a dry, dusty and unwashed estate rug; no pet stain, hardened area or odor.
