304: AN ANTIQUE KUBA CAUCASIAN AREA RUG CIRCA 1900

The ivory field with rows of flowering plants issuing small flower heads alternating with rows of plants adorned with a large flower head, all within an ogival serrated leaf lattice within a border of diagonal bands along with other guard borders including an ivory outer border enclosing continuous star flower heads.
Measures 75 x 49 inches.
Relatively even low pile overall with a few small areas of slightly heavier wear, heavy wear and some breaks to the original outer wrap, close ends, some residue back side as shown in the images, a dry, dusty and unwashed estate rug; no pet stain, or odor.
