27: A PRESENTATION LANTERN WITH BLUE OVER CLEAR GLOBE

The nickel plated brass frame with hoop bail handle on the stepped and ventilated top and maker's mark of M.M. BUCK & CO ST. LOUIS stamped on the shoulder, the removable extended lip two-color globe with blue glass fused to clear embellished with hand engraved wheel cut dedication of ''D, White'' in Old English font within a foliate wreath, stamped maker's mark of M.M. BUCK & CO ST. LOUIS on the underside of the burner receptacle.
Good condition noting heavy wear and oxidation to the handle, oxidation at other points of the frame, the brass keeper just above the bell bottom foot is absent, a dent to the bell bottom foot's rim, solder at one handle opening in the cap, a rivet or other addition to the top.
