The nickel-plated brass frame with swing handle and tall extended lip globe clear glass globe fused with ruby red glass laid over the upper half, the lantern base stamped CRERAR ADAMS & CO CHICAGO. ILL.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges show brass at some tips, minor spotty oxidation. There are areas of very minor roughness at the sheared red end of the globe and small nicks or flaws on the finished clear end rim, no other glass chips, cracks, repairs or issues of wear.
