90: PFEIFFER'S BEER SIGN PICTURING TRIPLE CROWN WINNER

The self-framed tin sign for Pfeiffer's Beer pictures the bay colt Gallant Fox winner of the Kentucky Derby in 1927 and the second horse ever to win the Triple Crown, original backing with the maker's mark of American Art Works Inc.
Measures 18 x 14.
Very good condition, noting a few scattered tiny surface nicks and chips with oxidation.
