163: CAST BACK BRASS PADLOCKS WITH RAILROAD MARKINGS

Three railroad padlocks include: Raised lettering on the body UNION PACIFIC. signed Adlake on the back, two keys stamped UP; Stamped lettering CNS&M RR CO on the shackle for the Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad, raised lettering ADLAKE on the dust guard, no key; and Stamped lettering BR&P on the body for the Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railway, maker's mark W. Bohannan on the shackle and W.B. on the body, patent date 1879, with key.
Good condition, noting missing dust cover, no key for CNS&M, working condition unknown.
