57: A BUILDER'S PLATE FOR NEW ORLEANS PUBLIC BELT SWITCHER

The circular brass plate with raised outer rim framing embossed letters and the construction number 62,135 along with the date 1937.

The same type of plate as those found on steam engines is recorded as being from a New Orleans Public Belt #31 diesel switcher.
Measures 9.25 inches.
Very good condition with good original surface.
