The wire frame with copper-wrapped bail handle, flat verticals, embossed maker's mark of THE ''ADAMS'' THE ADAMS & WESTLAKE COMPANY CHICAGO. and embossed railroad marking of UNION PACIFIC on the shoulder with old red paint, tall extended lip glass globe with cast lettering of Union Pacific in high relief.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges. The globe has considerable chipping around the bottom rim, no other chips, cracks or repairs.
