The nice, bright, nickel-plated brass frame with hoop bail handle mounted through the bulbous ventilated top with impressed mark of ''POST & CO THE GLOBE CIN. O.' on its top; wire frame around the globe with teal green glass fused on clear glass and with hand engraved dedication of J. R. MARINE embellished with foliate sprays and ornate lower border, the bell bottom base with additional maker's mark of POST & CO MAKERS CIN. O.
Very good condition, noting spotty scattered discoloration, light wear, there are no visible chips, cracks or repairs of the glass portion. The globe has not been seen outside the frame.
