55: AFTER AKIN CHROMOLITH OF HOTEL EL TOVAR ON THE SANTA FE

The image of Hotel El Tovar on the rim of the Grand Canyon with figures on the approach along the left side, after the painting by Louis Akin (1868-1913), the original frame with pressed decoration and brass plaque lettered EL TOVAR GRAND CANYON ARIZONA ON THE SANTA FE.
Measures 24 x 42.5 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. This work has not been examined outside the frame. There is brown spotting along the upper edge that appears to be on the glass, not foxing on the print. This has not been examined outside the frame and thus the issue is not fully known.
