29: TALL CAST RED LANTERN GLOBE LETTERED C. & E. I. R. R.

The red extended lip lantern globe for Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad with faint, slightly debossed lettering of SAFETY FIRST opposite the highly embossed railroad mark of C. & E. I. R. R. cast in a rectangular panel.
Measures 5.5 x top 2.5 x bottom 3.25 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, noting a very tiny and shallow flake on the ground rim of the top and scattered light areas of abrasion across the surface of the exterior.
