The tall tapering bowl with small circular base in muted mauve pink crackle glaze overall visible only inside the vessel while the exterior is decorated in black gold bars in reverse tumbling exuberantly down the sides with crackle pattern of the glaze showing through, signed R. Reed 96 on the small base.

See a very similar, much less interesting, bowl in the collection of the Canton Museum of Art permanent collection.
Measures 3 x 6.25 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
