The carved hardwood frame in traditional Louis XV style elements, plus a shell embellishment on the crest rail, silk damask upholstery, down cushion and bolster.
Measures 38.5 x 72 x 29, seat height 20 inches.
Very good condition, noting considerable water stain on the short end damask panel, otherwise very good, clean and odor free.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
