The flame stitch crewel work cushion on elongated rectangular frame with applied panels supported by twist-carved legs joined by a matching twist-carved stretcher.
Measures 19 x 58 x 16.5 inches.
Good to very good condition, noting considerable insect damage and other aging of the wood itself creating splits and diminished areas.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
