63: A DAZZLING DIAMOND COVERED TRANSITIONAL NAVAJO WEAVING

A highly visual composition framed in red and with two strings of sideways diamonds tip-to-tip running the long sides and in the center a field of nearly 100 multi-color diamond shape lozenge designs that fool the eye with contrasting colors and alternating trim colors all floating on a variegated background of natural wool colors. The weaving measures 84 x 57 inches overall.
Scattered small holes 1/2-inch or smaller with the exception of one 3-inch hole, all intact sides and ends, exposed warp in one or two areas, only lightly soiled one side and minor fade of the same side, good and sturdy overall, no mothing with the exception of a few of the smaller holes.
