36: A PERSIAN LILIHAN RUG WITH MEDALLION CIRCA 1930s

The lobed medallion of foliated designs surrounded by curvilinear sprays spaced across the ends and in each corner highlighted by four mirrored foliate boteh all enclosed by meander borders on ivory ground and a blue ground guard border with repeating pattern of polychrome leaves.
Measures 57 x 41 inches.
Very good condition, intact original sides and ends, good even pile, no pet stain, odor or hardened areas, dry and dusty with surface debris, fraying to the skirt at one end.
