112: A SUITE OF EIGHT DETAILED 19C CAPO DI MONTE GROUPINGS

Each modelled as figures in 18th century costume with cherubs standing before trees and architectural elements and set on separate scroll bases with grotesque masks and Minerva heads, one has an applied mark with molded letters, all display the bluish color lead glazes of wares from the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Measure from 13.5 to 17 inches.
One grouping has extensive amateur restoration as evidenced by the discolored repairs shown visible in the images. Otherwise the condition is very good throughout.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
