121: AN 800 SILVER CLOCK OFFERED WITH MINIATURE PORTRAITS

The collection of art objects includes.

1. An Italian painted portrait on porcelain in ormolu frame with mother-of-pearl liner.

2. A French miniature portrait in ormolu frame signed Hallais.

3. Signed French miniature portrait of a woman in plumed hat.

4. A fine miniature portico clock with 800 silver winged mermaids either side of the 800 silver case with porcelain dial decorated in gold enamels atop Corinthian columns with 800 silver capitols joining a platform base with carved ivory cherub on 800 silver balcony, the whole raised on four brass winged paw feet.
Clock measures 5.5 x 1.75 x 3 inches.
Very good original condition throughout, there are no issues of damage or repair.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
