81: AN 18/19TH CENTURY ITALIAN WALNUT WRITING DESK

The 18th or early 19th century desk with Louis XV style influence and a drawer that drawers from the center of each side, raised on cabriole legs ending in a whorl design atop shirt blocks.
Desk measures 28.5 x 34.5 x 29 inches.
Very good condition, noting age splits in the top, nice patina, no damage or repair.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
