57: A 19TH CENTURY DUTCH MARQUETRY CABINET ON STAND

The arched top with central carving over the marquetry inlaid cabinet with outset corners and conforming door embellished by impressive marquetry design of an ornate urn issuing copious floral sprays above a stylized eagle over scrolling rocaille; the cabinet with three glass interior shelves sits on a one-drawer base with marquetry florals on the cabriole legs joined by shaped skirts, circa 1850.
Measures 69 x 34.25 x 20 inches.
Very good condition, noting minor age splits and the effects of age and use to a subtle degree, no damage or repair. The drawer appears to have perhaps been re-worked.
