The like new 'machine' for determining depth up to 150 fathoms is made from solid brass with considerable precision, original woven rope lead, original wood box with paper label, made by Thomas Walker & Son Ltd., Birmingham, England.
Measures 44 x 4.75 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges of the wood box.
