175: AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY ENGLISH STILTON CHEESE DOME

The brown ground jasper ware dome with vents, 'knot' finial and white sprigged oak branch wreaths above and below a detailed hunt scene on underplate with matching wreath, no known maker's markings found.
Measures 10 x 12 inches.
A fine hairline crack under the cover's finial suggests it may be repaired or at least fractured, there are no other chips, cracks or repairs.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
