The circular plaque with heavy gilt decoration embellished with reserves of maroon in oval and diamonds in white surrounded by polychrome enamel scrolls, overall beading and a central reserve hand painted with a scene from Romeo and Juliet signed C. Heer, Hanoverian shield mark in blue with the word Austria and lettered 'Romeo and Juliet' in black.
Measures 16.25 x 1.5 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
