A New Mexico landscape signed lower center and again lower right, sight size 11 x 16.5, frame measures 19 x 24.5 inches. Preston McCrossen is most associated with Santa Fe and California in regard to his art. He is listed in Edan Hughes, 'Artists in California, 1786-1940'. He moved from California to Santa Fe in 1937. This work is dated 1938.
