The aquatint etching with drypoint from 1956 is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right, titled lower left, artist's proof edition. Very few from the public edition of 75 have been offered at auction and no record of Artist Proof prints at auction could be found. This is a fine impression and an exceptional example.
Image measures 8 x 11 with a framed size of 19 x 21.75 inches.
Very good to fine condition, the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage, stain, puncture or repair; framed to archival standards in acid free mounts.
