266: A 19TH C. FRENCH TRUMEAU MIRROR FROM A PANELED ROOM

The painted and parcel gilt carved wood frame with an elaborate ribbon over the architectural frame with applied carvings in creams and greens showing traces of gilding, the old, possibly original, mirror plate is topped by an oil on canvas painting after the Jean-Baptiste Greuze (1725-1805) painting in the Getty museum titled La Blanchisseuse (The Laundress).
Measures 83 x 36.25 x 1.25 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges.
