289: 1880s BRUNSWICK 'THE BRILLIANT NOVELTY' POOL TABLE

The exceptional Victorian four by eight table with fancy convex radiused cabinet corners and shapely legs is inlaid and veneered using exotic woods that include but may not be limited to rosewood, maple, mahogany, ash burl, French walnut, tulip-wood, California laurel , ebony and holly, the nickel pocket frames are fitted with leather pockets, A random cue stick rack with sticks is included.
Measures 35 inches high, 48 x 96 playing surface.
Very good condition, noting a split and poorly repaired rail as shown.
