188: A SHAKER ROCKING CHAIR SIGNED MT. LEBANON NO. 6

The mushroom capped arms have been reinforced by iron rods added as a repair or stabilizing attempt. The ladder back with shawl bar bears the stenciled mark of Shaker's No. 6 Trade Mark Mt. Lebanon N.Y., circa 1890 on the lowest cross rail.
Measures 41.5 x 22.5 x 28 inches.
Good condition, noting the addition of iron rods stabilizing each arm, original finish and stenciled markings, no other damage or repair.
