The smart and highly detailed figure is finely cast in bronze and patinated with a rich brown surface, signed S. Marceaux in the casting of the base with date of 1879 and founder's mark of 'Reduction Mécanique, A. Collas Brevete' in a circular seal.
Measures 34 x 12.5 x 11.5 inches.
Very good original condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
