22: A CHINESE CARVED HARDWOOD AND MARBLE STAND TABLE

A Republic period circular form table with a border of scrolling blossoming foliage and carved beaded edge enclosing a rose veined variegated marble top above a frieze of pierced stylized scrolling berried leaves, all on curling legs with stylized Foo Dog mouths spilling forth flower detailed chutes, connected by an undertier with molded edge and ending in paw feet. Measures 26 x 23 x 23 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
