273: A SEVRES TYPE BRONZE MOUNTED PORCELAIN URN 38 INCHES

A single Sevres type cobalt ground urn with gold decoration on the domed cover topped by an acanthus finial, the baluster form body with cobalt ground neck and painted oval of an 18th century courtly interior scene signed Lawrence framed in gold, the opposite side painted with a lakeside European village view; the body flanked by high acanthus scroll handles ringed with laurel wreaths and extending the full length of the side to the bronze mounted domed socle and circular foot trimmed in bronze beading on the conforming square bronze base with canted corners. Measures 38 x 17 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
