283: A LARGE 20TH CENTURY SHIELD SHAPE VENETIAN MIRROR

The crest a large surmount of a carved shell upon foliate scrolls and openwork carving; large dramatic stylized palms frame the looking glass, their branches intersecting at the base with carved feathers and ribbons. Measures 53 x 42 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Very good original condition, the original gilt finish with perfect patina and consistent light wear to some high points, minor age separations as expected.
