301: AN INTRICATELY CARVED WOOD CHINESE EXPORT MIRROR

An early 20th century frame having rectangular plate within a gold fillet and surrounded by a serpentine rectangular wooden frame carved overall with intricate pictorial scenes of figures in pagodas, dragons, flowering prunus trees and bats joining large butterfly figural corners. Measures 30.5 x 39 inches overall. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Good condition noting the loss of four carved 'cloud ' carvings at the extreme lower left edge.
