352: A SMALL COLLECTION OF ASIAN PORCELAIN ITEMS

A pair of Japanese bulbous porcelain bottles with underglaze blue hand-painted designs of a scholar group in a garden in lozenges surrounded by bamboo and peonies. Measure 7.5 x 5.5 inches each. A Chinese Blanc de Chine Guanyin with sceptre
measuring 17.5 x 5 inches. And two Chinese celadon-glazed porcelain bowls, the smaller one of plum petal shape with overglaze relief design of a plum blossom in the center and four-character base mark reading "Tai Ying Xuan Zhi" in underglaze blue; the second with an unreadable underglaze blue base mark. Measures 2.75 x 5.25 inches and 1.5 x 6.75 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. Lines in the interior of the bowls. There are no other major chips, cracks or repairs.
