An oil on canvas signed in black pigment upper left and dated 1893, titled 'The Harlequin' on the gallery label verso, canvas measures 17.5 x 22.5 and the frame is 24.5 x 29 inches.
Good condition noting craquelure overall, evidence of prior framing impact to canvas, relined. Examination under UV light shows area of inpainting on the left side near the frame, small area left of the face, a small touch in the white collar visible only under UV light.
