115: AN UNUSUAL 19TH C. WOODEN SPICE BOX WITH SLIDE LID

A mahogany case of dovetailed construction, the interior designed to provide five compartments, four with separate doors, one small wooden scoop all enclosed by a beveled sliding lid, the original bottom yellow pine secondary wood. Measures 4 x 14 x 7.5 inches.

Excellent patina, normal cosmetic wear and age, very good overall.
