A circa 1905 trompe l'oeil still life oil on canvas of hanging corn, the ears having each kernel detailed in Montgomery's trademark technique of high, thick impasto paints, the bundle hung against a rustic door. Signed A.M. lower center. Measures 28.25 x 18 inches, 31.5 x 21.5 inch wooden frame.
