A FINELY PAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUE TITLED 'LEAVING'

100: A FINELY PAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUE TITLED 'LEAVING'

Circa late 19th to early 20th century, the finely painted porcelain plaque depicting a woman in Victorian mourning dress by the seashore. Hand lettering verso in blue reads "Verlassen Nach Winck" translating to "Leaving" after the work by Winck? within a Louis XV style carved wood frame with distressed finish. Plaque measures 7.25 x 5.25 inches, frame 14 x 12.25 inches.

Very fine condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches, rubs or wear. Nicely painted.
