124: AN EARLY 20TH C. FRENCH ENAMEL TAZZA

A cobalt ground kiln fired enamel tazza executed and decorated in a manner associated with Sevres. The deep cobalt ground enameled with raised gold rococo swirls, reserves with floral sprays, musical instruments in gold, the interior centered by a polychrome enamel scene of lovers in 18th century garb with musical instruments. There are no markings. Measures 5.5 x 5.25 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust.

Chipping along the bottom edge, unevenness along the top edge, irregular gold trim along the top edge and a point of separation where the standard meets the bowl along with corresponding looseness. No major chips or repairs.
