Thomas Hill McKay (Scottish-American, 1874-1941), oil on board, depicting a pastoral landscape scene of thatched cottage with stream cutting diagonally into the foreground, gentle rolling hills in background dotted by sheep. Straight gilt wood frame with beading Oil on artist board of a country scene with farm house and sheep, signed 'T.H. McKay' to lower left corner. Sight size through the frame equals 20 x 36 inches, the frame 25.5 x 41.5 inches. See lot 156 for the companion piece.
